The Yaesu FTA-550 AA aeronautical transceiver features an advanced user interface with a high-definition display that ensures intuitive operation and optimized performance.
The YAESU FTA-550 AA is an aeronautical transceiver with ILS (localizer and glideslope) and VOR navigation.

VOR NAVIGATION SCREEN
When the FTA-750 receives a VOR signal, the display will automatically switch to the NAV screen side showing a CDI based on the received signal.

The FTA-550 has been tested and complies with the MIL-STD-810F military standard. Similar to commercial Land Mobile radios, all current Yaesu Airband transceivers have been tested to withstand low temperatures, high temperatures, shocks, vibrations, dust, and rain, ensuring many years of robust use.

The FTA-550 is configured with an easy-to-use icon-driven menu system. Menu screens and settings are logically configured for a more intuitive user interface.

The FTA-550 features a huge 1.7" x 1.7" dot matrix LCD display with full backlight and dimmer. The high-resolution display makes it easier to view all the great features offered by the FTA-550.
- VOR Navigation Display

The FTA-550 can store up to 200 memory channels for quick and easy retrieval. With the ability to use up to 15 alphanumeric characters for naming, the FTA-550 allows for better channel description.
