Technical specifications
Status Quad antennas for 6m and VHF are always made with the same attention to detail as the HF models. We have sought solutions that would make the antenna mechanically reliable and easy to assemble.
Boom details
The connection plate is entirely made of aluminum, cut and drilled with CNC machines. The boom housing is carved into the plate to prevent any movement. Aluminum U-bolts to tighten masts from 40 to 65 mm. Boom made of square aluminum profile 50x50 mm, 2 mm thick.
Antenna elements
The elements are made with 10 mm diameter fiberglass rods, the conductor is connected to the elements using specially designed and manufactured Status Quad fittings.
Antenna loop
The antenna loops are made with a 2.57 mm diameter aluminum braid.
Differences between "Standard" and "L" series quad
The differences between the two quad series are:
- boom/mast connection plate
- braid connection to the fiberglass rods that form the diagonals of the individual elements
