The Midland SKYLAB 27 is the quintessential omnidirectional base antenna dedicated to those taking their first steps or wanting a reliable fixed station in the 27 MHz (CB) band. Its characteristic quarter-wave pattern, supported by three lower radials that act as a perfect artificial ground plane, ensures stable tuning and ideal omnidirectional radiation lobes for short and medium-range local connections. Fine-tuning is easily performed by varying the length of the terminal whip to obtain the minimum Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) on the desired channels.
