The mAT-40 automatic antenna tuner allows you to quickly tune any antenna automatically: unbalanced or single-wire. It can be operated by transmitters of various brands by selecting different interface cables, such as ICOM, YAESU, and KENWOOD, just like their own brand tuners. The tuner's housing is produced by aluminum milling and oxidation surface technology, making it beautiful, delicate, compact, and solid. It can work well in all kinds of harsh outdoor environments. The maximum size of the tuner is only 20 cm, which is currently the smallest outdoor antenna tuner.
The mAT-40 also features advanced memory tuning, providing 16000 memory positions. When tuning near a previously used frequency, it will recall the settings for an almost instant tune. It learns your favorite frequencies and bands as you use it. You can also manually initiate a tuning cycle whenever needed.
The tuner is supplied with the following parts:
- Stainless steel bracket, strong and reliable, good corrosion resistance.
It allows tuners to be installed more conveniently.
- mAT-40 Host, control cable (mAT-40-D, 10 meters, included)
OPTIONAL:
- YAESU interface cable (mAT-40-Y),
- ICOM interface cable (mAT-40-M),
- KENWOOD interface cable (mAT-40-K).
The mAT-40 host and mAT-40-D control cable are necessary parts, and the remaining interface cables are optional.
You can choose different interface cables depending on your radio.
The control cable is a standard accessory and comes with the tuners. It is a six-core cable with a length of 10 meters.
One plug is connected to the tuner, and the other plug connects different interface cables. There are three types of interface cables. Different interface cables are used to connect different brands of transmitters. They are YAESU interface cables, ICOM interface cables, and KENWOOD interface cables. The standard tuner configuration contains only one specific interface cable, and the other two interface cables are optional and can be purchased selectively.

YAESU interface cable mAT-40-Y. It is optional and must be purchased separately. It is not a standard accessory for the mAT-40.
