Although not described in the instruction manual, the device is multi-standard for Italy/Poland type approval. Some devices may be set by default in PO (Poland) mode, to switch to the correct mode for channeling and power for Italy (40 channels and 4 watts AM-FM final 5 KHz step) follow this procedure:
- Turn on the device while simultaneously holding down the SC (Scanner) button, the display will start flashing and at this point use the UP and DOWN buttons to select EU or any other acronym that is not PO.
- Press the SC button again and the device is ready to operate correctly in Italy mode.
