This new Messi & Paoloni model has been specifically designed for use with high-power linear amplifiers and for high-frequency "MOON Bouncing" enthusiasts. It is a further evolution of the M&P-ULTRAFLEX 13, as the wires in the central conductor have increased to 37 (compared to the previous 19): this improvement leads to even greater flexibility for the cable, as well as improvements in attenuation. 

Its peculiar characteristics can be summarized as follows:

Extreme flexibility: a sophisticated stranded copper central conductor, (37 wires instead of 19) ensures a perfect connection between the cable and motorized antennas.

Dielectric redesign: surprising attenuations up to 10 Ghz. Despite its size being only 12.7 mm, (actual 0.50"), this prestigious model rivals competing models of larger sizes at 14.6 mm or rigid corrugated copper cables at 15 mm, reducing the number of connectors needed from 4 to 2 (because an additional flexible cable is not needed for the final connection to the antenna).

Shielding efficiency: > 105 dB (SA), and increased robustness, achieved by adding 24 more wires to the braid, for a total of 168 wires, (70% coverage + 100% shielding tape). This leads to a significant reduction in background noise. Furthermore, the braiding machines used are 24-spool, instead of 16, guaranteeing 50% more crossovers.

Reduced weight and bulk compared to its direct competitors, (for the purpose of reducing cable stress in the "hanging and swinging" section connected to motorized antennas). The considerable power handling and surprising performance compared to some bulkier, rigid, and heavier competitor cables make it a must for ambitious installations (especially EME applications and motorized antennas).

The outer protective sheath is made of black, UV-resistant PVC. Please note that all PVC sheaths provide greater flexibility to cables but do not make them suitable for direct burial. Each cable can be made with a polyethylene sheath only upon request and for reasonable quantities for direct burial.
