GA-800 Active RX Loop Antenna, 10kHz - 159MHz
The GA-800 is an active loop antenna with a diameter of 26 cm and convenient automatic tuning. It not only covers the entire shortwave range starting from 10 kHz, but can also be used in the VHF band, which offers numerous other possibilities, such as receiving the 6m, 4m, and 2m amateur radio bands. The integrated amplifier and interference suppression ensure a good signal. The input impedance is 50 ohms, and the gain is specified up to 20 dB. Weighing only about 650 grams, the GA-800 is absolutely lightweight. Thanks to the included cables with 3.5" jack or BNC plugs, it can be easily connected to all common receivers or worldwide reception devices.Application Description
Unlike the GA-450, the GA-800 loop antenna can also be used remotely, for example, in a dry place in the garden, away from domestic interference. The delivery includes a suitable 5m long cable. The compact dimensions combined with the very low weight and wide reception spectrum make the GA-800 the ideal companion for any holiday trip or the next excursion: install the antenna, connect the receiver, and immediately start receiving – it couldn't be easier – especially if there's no space to hang long wires. Thanks to the GA-800's directivity, the antenna can be easily oriented in the direction of the signal source, while blocking any existing disturbing signals. The 3.7V / 2600 mAh "18650" type battery is integrated into the housing and charges via a USB-C connection (cable included). It is protected against deep discharge and overcharging. Note: The antenna is not waterproof and can therefore only be used in dry conditions.
