The New High-Class Generation

The FLEX-8400M offers the latest direct-sampling SDR technology for the general HF/6m operator, with new performance for DX hunting and contests. It is based on the architecture of the successful FLEX-6400, but features a CPU with approximately four times the performance and an FPGA with double the performance. This performance boost ensures fast boot times and forms the basis for future functionalities impossible on the previous series.

Among the new features is "Adaptive Pre-distortion" (APD), which delivers the cleanest signal on an amateur radio platform. It includes integrated GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) functionality and a future NTP time server, ensuring that the transceiver always remains exactly on the same frequency (even via internal TCXO without sky view).

The Best of Performance

The receivers are direct-sampling SDRs with 122.8 MHz sampling and a 16-bit AD converter, providing an exceptional RMDR of 115 dB (at 2 kHz). You'll have a spectrum width of up to 7 MHz available, perfect for observing several bands simultaneously. The preselector with 3-pole filters ensures total immunity to strong signals. With the integrated display or external clients, you can use up to two independent spectrum/waterfall displays and receivers with instant QSY.
