ECO ANTENNE LW-20 long wire end-fed from 80 to 6 meters
The LW-20 are long wire end-fed antennas. They have a 9:1 UNUN at the feed point which allows direct feeding with 50 Ohm coaxial cable. The 9:1 UNUN also removes static noise and provides a DC path to ground. All are capable of handling up to 400 W RF.
With 20 m in length, it will work on all bands from 80m to 6m via an ATU. Great performance with a small footprint.
These antennas give excellent results where space is vital. However, please note that due to the variable impedance characteristic of any long wire antenna, the ATU built into the average transceiver will not be able to handle all bands. For full coverage, you will need an external ATU or a system capable of capacitively loading the antenna's j and X. This result can be achieved with tuning networks in an L or T configuration.
The LW-20 is fully assembled and ready to use. Even the poly weave wire does not tangle and is extremely durable.
