The WD-330 originates from a project for severe applications in commercial broadcast from 2 to 30 MHz, adapted to the typical space requirements of European radio amateurs: a very valid choice from a qualitative point of view. It is constructed from specific copper braid for use, covered with high-quality protective PVC. Supplied complete with exceptionally sturdy fiberglass spacers, wideband matching device and balun, which allow adaptation to the 50 ohm feed line. It arrives pre-tuned and assembled. Therefore, nothing needs to be measured, cut, lengthened or tuned. The WD-330S can be installed horizontally for maximum efficiency, but can also be installed as an inverted "V" and as a sloper. Some appear to have already installed them in "sloper" systems composed of multiple WD-330 antennas, single or coupled to obtain greater gain, directivity and signal discrimination. If mounted sufficiently distant from obstacles and metallic structures, the performance is very good and the SWR is within specifications.
