Description
With Vantage Pro2, our weather stations are now even better. The first and only stations in their price range to use frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS)
for data transmission. They send and receive data up to a line-of-sight distance of 300 m, which is equivalent to the length of 3 football fields! They contain all the minimum and maximum values (and/or sums or averages)
for almost all weather variables over the last days, months or years, and their weather forecasts – all without the need for a
PC. They feature an innovative
integrated sensor unit
that combines the rain gauge, air humidity and temperature sensors, and an anemometer into a single device,
making installation easier and improving performance and reliability.
Our Vantage temperature sensors have an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C (1° F), and the accuracy of the outdoor air humidity sensors
is ± 3%. In real-world situations, however, solar radiation and reflected heat from roofs or road surfaces can
generate significant differences. The integrated radiation shield (weather dome) provides
significant protection.
Customize your weather station by adding one or more sensors. All Vantage Pro2 weather stations can receive data from eight different transmission stations.
