The new MegActiv MA305FT is an evolution of the popular MegActiv MA305. In addition to minor improvements in the electronics, the new MegActiv MA305FT has been equipped with a switchable FM-Stop-band filter. Therefore, disturbing radiation from the FM band between 88 and 108 MHz can be easily minimized.
This low-noise active antenna, manufactured to the highest standards, covers the frequency range between 9kHz and 300MHz. With a radiating element of only 22 cm / 8.66 inches, it can be inconspicuously erected. It can be powered with 5-15 V DC (max. 40 mA) and alternatively with the included Dual Power unit CPI1000DP via USB.
Flexible FM stop filter
Based on the proven Megactive platform, an additional low-pass filter and an FM band-stop filter have been integrated, which can be easily switched on or off with a jumper. In case of FM interference, the FM filter can be activated with a jumper, and thus FM signals between 88 MHz and 108 MHz will be attenuated by 20 - 30 dB.

MegActiv MA305 can be operated from two different types of power sources. It can be powered by a regular plug-in power supply or via USB. Powering via USB has the advantage that no external power supply is needed and the antenna can be used independently and noiselessly with a separate USB PowerBank. The power supply voltage range is 5 - 15 V DC (10 mA max) and therefore the antenna is also suitable for portable use.
Integrated double overvoltage protection of the active antenna part
Integrated overvoltage protection of active components: gas discharge tube protection with an ignition voltage of 60 V max. leakage current 1kA (8 / 20µs) with additional integrated ESD protection of max. 2 kV.
