Ideal for traveling, at home, or in DX-Camp
The BONI-WHIP active antenna replaces the very successful Mini-Whip antenna. Despite its size (only about 17 cm long), it offers excellent reception results on long wave, medium wave, and short wave, and also for VHF up to 300 MHz. We developed this antenna ourselves and it is built here in Germany, so it is truly "Made in Germany" by Bonito. The antenna offers many improvements and better values than the original MiniWhip. Even at very low frequencies, the Boni-Whip produces excellent reception results. It can be used from 20 kHz and is a good choice for listeners who are interested in low frequencies.
We have also thought of radio listeners who are interested in high frequencies and have extended the range to 300 MHz. Fantastic reception results can be achieved; and thanks to its small size, the antenna can be erected inconspicuously.
The active antenna circuit is housed in a weather- and UV-resistant black box. Power is supplied via the antenna cable and the included power module (bias tee). A V4A stainless steel mast mounting bracket is also available.
Thanks to its interchangeable radiating elements (Whips), the BoniWhip can be used with different elements for experiments. The antenna can thus be adapted to the surrounding environment or a special reception area. This is very useful if you participate in a Field-day or a DX-Camp.
