ARS-USB-YAESU-DC
This is a special version of the ARS -USB , adapted for Yaesu motors (or 24V DC powered motors), which allows you to replace the original Yaesu remote control with this one.
It includes the same features as the standard ARS-USB, but also:
- PWM start/stop management ensures the motor starts and stops gradually.
- It warns and locks rotation when it detects that the potentiometer is out of the operating range (for example, if the potentiometer breaks or a wire breaks).
- Warns and detects if the motor is stalled.
ARSCU_YAESU_DC is a special version designed to directly drive Yaesu motors (DC models) such as the following models:
- G450ADC, G450CDC
- G800S, G800SA, G800DXA, G800SDX
- G1000A, G1000SA, G1000S, G1000DXA, G1000SDX, G1000DXC
- G2800DXA, G2800DXC
It includes a 6-pin Molex connector compatible with the connector used by Yaesu on its motors. It can also be used with other DC motors (24V DC), such as the Emotator 1200.
The popular ARSVCOM software is included, which offers an intuitive interface for Windows. It features a USB port with a Yaesu GS232A compatible interface, making it compatible with any software.
It is the ideal solution for remote control of motors via Internet .
The calibration system is very powerful and simple, allowing you to adjust the motor's limit switches between any point and with ramp start/stop.
ARSCU_YAESU_DC, like the standard ARS-USB, includes a utility that allows new versions to be loaded of firmware via the same USB port. Thanks to this utility, there is no need to modify EPROMs or use expensive flash memory upgrade tools. Using the same Yaesu connector simplifies setup. Simply unplug the cable from your Yaesu receiver and connect it to ARSCU_YAESU_DC. It is compatible with Yaesu receivers from the A, SA and DXA series. It can also be used with motors that only require two wires for the potentiometer, such as the G450ADC, as it is designed for this purpose by activating a mounting bracket.
- Make sure the motor rotates in the correct direction and not the opposite. This can happen when the wires are connected for the first time.
It also allows the motor to be calibrated at any point of its stroke and includes a simple and flexible configurator (ARSConf).
Includes a 24V DC - 90W module required for Yaesu DC motors (G800, G1000, G2800 or the new G450DC). It can work with motors using 3-wire (standard) or 2-wire potentiometers.
