ARS-USB-PROSISTEL
This is a special version of the ARS -USB adapted to Prosistel motors (or motors that use a multi-turn potentiometer), allowing you to replace the original Prosistel controller with this controller.
It includes the same features as the standard ARS-USB, but also:
- PWM start/stop management ensures that the motor starts and stops gradually.
- Warns and blocks rotation when it detects that the potentiometer is out of its operating range (e.g., in case of potentiometer breakage or a broken wire).
- Warns and detects if the motor is stuck.
- Ensure that the motor rotates in the correct direction and not the opposite. This can happen when wires are connected for the first time.
It also allows you to calibrate the motor at any point in its travel and includes a simple and flexible configurator (ARSConf).
The ARS-CU_PST is a special version designed to directly control motors that use multi-turn potentiometers, such as those used by Prosistel. It includes the same 5-pin connector compatible with Prosistel controllers, making this controller plug and play .
It also includes the popular ARSVCOM software, which provides an intuitive interface. In addition, it features a USB port with a Yaesu GS232 compatible interface, making it compatible with any software. It is the ideal solution for remote motor control via Internet .
The calibration system is truly powerful and simple, allowing you to adjust the motor's end stops between any points.
The ARS-CU_PST, like the standard ARS-USB, includes a utility that allows remote firmware updates via the same USB port. Thanks to this utility, no EPROM modifications or expensive tools are needed to update the Flash memory.
