ARS-USB AZIMUTH
ARS -USB Azimuth is the most complete and powerful universal motor interface on the market. It connects to your existing motor controller (Yaesu, Kenpro, Daiwa, HamIV/T2X, Prosistel, etc.) and allows you to control the positioning (azimuth) of your antennas from your computer via the USB port.
The ARS is a universal interface, as it can be adapted to any type of motor control; the user manual describes its connection, with a long list of supported controls.
This model corresponds to the Azimuth version , but it is also available for Azimuth & Elevation (2 motors)
For some motor models we offer the cable option.
The ARS-USB is detected by the computer as a serial/COM port, so any program (satellite tracking, logging software, etc.) that configures this port will be able to control it without needing additional software. In addition, the ARS-USB uses the same commands/instructions as the Yaesu GS232A , which simplifies things, as any program that supports this interface model will work with the ARS-USB.
The software to facilitate configuration is also included: ARSVCOM, which also provides an intuitive interface.
We offer adapted versions of the ARS-USB that can be used as standalone units (e.g., with Yaesu or Prosistel) , which means that they DO NOT need to be connected to a computer. This makes it an attractive and more functional alternative to the original remote control. In some cases, a power supply will be needed, usually 24V, and, depending on the motor model, a starting capacitor.
