IC-R8600
ALL MODE+DIGITAL WIDE SPECTRUM RECEIVER 10 KHZ – 3 GHZ
Now with the IC-R8600 it is also possible to receive DMR and TETRA via PC
(Download the guide you can find in the attached documents)
The IC-R8600 is a wideband 10kHz-3GHz receiver that operates in USB, LSB, CW, FSK, AM, FM, WFM, and decodes digital D-STAR, NXDN, dPMR, APCO P25, and Japanese DCR signals.
Compact and durable, the IC-R8600 has passed the most stringent resistance tests to achieve MIL-STD-810G certification.
The performance of this receiver is excellent.
It features 11 discrete RF bandpass filters in the HF bands and 13 bandpass filters in the VHF/UHF bands.
To prevent overflow, only the desired signal is transmitted, while strong interfering signals are blocked.
The IC-R8600 uses a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) unit and DSP for demodulation, decoding, and signal processing.
Direct HF signals and intermediate frequency signals, which are converted from VHF/UHF signals, are digitized in a 14-bit A/D converter and transferred to the FPGA and DSP for optimal processing. The high sampling rate of 122.88 MHz used for the A/D converter results in reduced distortion and a clean, clear signal.

The unit also integrates the Waterfall function, which allows visualizing the variation in signal intensity over time and detecting even the weakest signals. The combination of this function with the "Real Time" spectrum analyzer will enhance the receiver's performance without neglecting any signals, including the weakest ones. The IC-R8600 stands out for its large 4.3" color TFT LCD touchscreen display that provides clear and detailed information.
Thanks to the intuitive user interface and on-screen controls, it will be possible to set various functions with simplicity and precision.
Furthermore, by pressing the multi-function DIAL A, B, or C knob, various functions are displayed on the screen, such as scan speed, RF gain, audio tone, display backlight, and more.

The combination of the multi-function knob and the touchscreen display further facilitates any search and setting operation.
Other key features include the new "IP+" function that improves the third-order intercept point (IP3) performance, the voice synthesizer, IP remote control via optional RS-8600 software, and a microSD card slot for data storage.
