DIAMOND GZV-6000
The DIAMOND GZV-series switching power supplies are high-power switching power supplies (40A for the GZV-4000 and 60A for the GZV-6000) with reduced size and weight. They have been specifically designed and built to power transceiver equipment, providing a variable voltage between 5 and 15 Vdc. They are equipped with protection circuits: overcurrent, which activates in case of overloads beyond the limit value, including short circuits, and overtemperature to prevent overheating that could damage the power supply. An indicator, located on the front of the power supply, signals when the protection circuits have been activated. Additionally, given its intended use, it features a special radio frequency interference (RFI) protection circuit. The analog meter displays the output voltage or current, selectable by a switch on the front panel. They have three DC power outputs: a high-power binding post output on the rear (40A or 60A depending on the model), while two outputs - one with 6A SNAP-ON terminals and one with a cigarette lighter socket - are hidden on the front under a removable panel. There is also an 8W, 8 Ohm impedance front speaker that can be connected to the transceiver via a 3.5mm jack socket.
