Technical specifications
Status Quad antennas for 6m and VHF are always made with the same attention to detail as the HF models. We have sought solutions that make the antenna mechanically reliable and easy to assemble.
Boom details
The connecting plate is entirely made of aluminum, cut and drilled with numerical control machines. The boom housing is carved into the plate to prevent any movement. Aluminum U-bolts to tighten masts from 40 to 65 mm. Boom made of 50x50 square profile aluminum, 2 mm thick.
Antenna elements
The elements are made of 10 mm diameter fiberglass rod, the conductor is connected to the elements through thimbles made according to Status Quad design and project.
Antenna loop
The antenna loops are made with a 2.57 mm diameter aluminum braid.
