Status Quad antennas for 6m and VHF are always made with the same attention to detail as the HF models. We have looked for solutions that make the antenna mechanically reliable and easy to assemble.
Boom details
The connection plate is entirely made of aluminum, cut and drilled with CNC machines. The boom housing is hollowed out in the plate to prevent any movement. Aluminum U-bolts for tightening masts from 40 to 65 mm. Boom made of square aluminum profile 50x50, 2 mm thick.
Antenna elements
The elements are made of 10 mm diameter fiberglass rod, the conductor is connected to the elements using thimbles designed and manufactured by Status Quad.
Antenna loop
The antenna loops are made with 2.57 mm diameter aluminum braid.
