How the innovative communication system works over LAN and IP networks
The system provides the ability to contact anyone on your staff at any time and wherever they are, with an immediate, effective and secure communication system. You can choose whether to make a voice call to a single person or to multiple people simultaneously, send a message, or contact only staff present in a specific part of your facility, with the immediacy of a device that can also be used hands-free. All without call charges.
The system is particularly suitable for:

No annual fee is required for installation and use. It uses the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standard.
- Secure communication
Your conversation remains private thanks to the encryption provided by wireless security protocols (WPA-PSK/WPA-PSK2).
- Simultaneous use
Multiple simultaneous communications are possible within the system. Through the use of optional dedicated headsets/microphones, the IP100H transceiver can receive and transmit simultaneously like a normal telephone conversation (full duplex).
- Terminal location information
The optional IP100FS software can receive information on the position of each transceiver based on the access point to which it is registered and graphically display it on the screen.
- Simple management
The IP1000C controller can remotely configure most of the transceiver's operating parameters.
It is therefore not necessary to connect each individual terminal to the PC, except when it is first inserted into the system. Information such as pre-programmed text messages, phonebook, ID list, etc., can be modified remotely and the IP100H synchronizes with the new information when switched on.
Two different controllers are available: up to 20 users and up to 100 users.
- Different call types
The IP100H terminals and the remote communicator software IP100FS can make individual selective calls, group calls, general calls, and area calls. This exclusive general call feature allows calling any user who accesses a specific access point.
- Mixing function
This function allows receiving the voices of multiple users simultaneously. This enables point-to-multipoint communication, thereby increasing the efficiency of information sharing.
- Roaming
In a network consisting of two or more access points connected via IP, a transceiver can roam from one access point to another without losing communication.
- Short text and status messages
IP100H terminals and remote communicator software IP100FS* allow sending short text messages** and status messages to other users of the system. Upon receiving a message, you can choose whether the IP100H vibrates strongly or emits an acoustic signal (pager function).
* For IP100FS, sending free-text messages is possible.
** For IP100H, only sending pre-programmed messages is possible.
- Remote Monitor, Kill, Revive and Stun functions*
In an emergency, the IP100FS can force a specific IP100H to transmit the audio captured by the microphone, to monitor what is happening.
The "Stun" command allows disabling a transmitting radio remotely; with the "Revive" command, it is possible - also remotely - to restore its functionality. In more extreme cases, such as theft, it can be made completely unusable via the "Kill" command; in this case, the device can only be restored in the laboratory.
* Commands can only be sent from the IP100FS.
- IP phone and transceiver interconnection
Through the VE-PG3 RoIP gateway, the advanced IP radio system can connect with an IP phone, a PABX switchboard, an analog or digital IDAS™ NXDN™ radio network.
The IP1000C radio server manages and synchronizes communications within the system and sends programming updates to the terminals.
The system can be supplemented with:
- the optional IP100FS software, which acts as a virtual radio on PC and dispatcher (simple control center)
- the Icom AP-90M access point; the system also works with third-party access points* (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standard)

- the access point management software RS-AP3
