The EQ20B-DSP unit features a 10W per channel audio amplifier with Bluetooth, parametric equalisation and bhi's latest dual channel DSP noise cancellation technology to give you an even better "noise-free" listening experience.
Mono or Stereo inputs
You can connect either one or two mono inputs to the CH1 & CH2 input sockets or a stereo signal from an SDR radio, shortwave receiver, MP3 player etc. via the stereo input socket.
Choice of outputs and connections
Connect your passive speakers to the left and right "Speaker Outputs" using either 4mm banana plugs or the supplied 3.5mm phono-mono adaptors. Use the "Source Select" push button on the front panel to select your desired audio.
Easy to use audio controls
The EQ20B-DSP is housed in a compact quality ABS case. There are controls for Power/Volume along with two parametric equaliser channels labelled Bass and Treble, with the Bass centre frequency adjustable from 100Hz to 1kHz and the Treble covering 1kHz to 10kHz. Used together, these controls provide two bands of ±10dB adjustment from 100Hz to 10kHz.
bhi DSP Noise Cancellation
The fully adaptive DSP noise cancellation filter can be adjusted from 9 to 40dB, allowing you to change the filter setting in "real time" to suit current conditions.
Benefits of Parametric Equalisation
Unlike standard tone controls, graphic equalisation and pre-set EQ settings, a parametric equaliser allows you to select the precise frequency you want to adjust. This allows you to boost or cut the selected frequency, giving you far greater flexibility and accuracy in setting the audio to suit your own hearing. This is especially useful for people with hearing difficulties.
Bluetooth Connectivity
The built-in Bluetooth on the input effectively turns the EQ20B-DSP into a Bluetooth speaker allowing audio to be played through the unit from a Bluetooth audio source such as an MP3 player or Bluetooth enabled radio to your passive speakers connected to the reaqr of the unit. Note: you cannot connect directly to Bluetooth enabled devices from the EQ20B-DSP output. If you want to connect to a Bluetooth enabled device on the output, such as Bluetooth headphones, speakers or hearing aids, you can use a suitable Bluetooth transmitter available from numerous outlets including Amazon.
