PST-RD4017S
This loaded rotary dipole, in its basic version, effectively comprises 3 antennas in one. It is defined as modular because it is easily expandable with specific kits, allowing you to add one or two more full-size bands, chosen from 15 - 12 and 10m. For its construction, quality materials were chosen, particularly fiberglass coil supports and 2mm copper wire windings. This configuration allows for power handling up to 2KW PEP, well above the legal limit. Despite being loaded and having a turning radius of just over 6m, it exhibits a bandwidth in 40m of approximately 150Kc. Each band has adjustments to fine-tune the tuning point if necessary. In the 6m band, the antenna has a minimum SWR of approximately 1:1.5 for an optimal bandwidth of about 500Kc from 50 to 50.5MHz. For optimal operation, it is recommended to mount it at a height of at least 4-5 meters from the ground.
