Alpha Delta DX-B
single sloper antenna for 160, 80, 40, and 30 meters
Alpha Delta Single Sloper antennas are the ideal loaded quarter-wave solution for small spaces. The DX-B is designed to cover 160, 80, 40, and 30 meters.
A single arm, 18.2 meters long. Sloper antennas are installed like an inverted V with a ground return through the metal tower or mast. These antennas use stainless steel hardware, copper wire, and efficient Alpha Delta "Iso-Res" RF winding coils.
Sloper antennas are designed for use on untensioned towers with metal guy wires, with a Yagi antenna at the top. The Yagi acts as a capacitive hat and helps tune the sloper.
It is possible that the introduction of sloper antennas into a tower system that has other wire antennas connected may cause a slight detuning of the other antennas. Some installations require the use of a tuner.
