THE PL VERSION REQUIRES A ROOF MOUNT OR A MAGNETIC BASE WITH ITS COAXIAL CABLE FOR INSTALLATION
Sirio TURBO 5000 PL is a robust antenna with excellent performance thanks to the materials used and careful design. The natural colored conical whip made of 17/7 PH stainless steel, almost 2 meters high, allows connections similar to those obtainable with fixed antennas under the same conditions.
The metallic parts that make up the coil, the support, and the connector are made of treated brass. The plastic material covering everything is shock-resistant, weathering-resistant, and UV-resistant.
The tuning coil is made of large-section copper to withstand the high power for which it was designed, electrically grounded for lower background noise and protection of the transceiver from electrostatic discharges.
Equipped with a friction joint that allows the antenna to be removed from the support or locked at the desired inclination up to 90 degrees relative to the base, all using only hands without the need for tools.
