The new NS-1230M is a compact switching power supply (154 x 127 x 63 mm L x D x H), specifically designed for use with amateur radio transceiver equipment for radio amateurs who want a powerful, spectrally clean power supply with low ripple at their station. It is short-circuit protected, with maximum current and voltage limiting. The output voltage is adjustable from 4 to 16Vdc. A fan for forced air cooling is located on the rear and is activated by a temperature sensor. The front panel features the power button, the output voltage adjustment knob (4-16Vdc), and the V/A meter with a button for selecting the desired reading (V or A).
