Heil Sound CC-1-XLR K Balanced XLR Adapter Cable for Kenwood
Heil Sound's superior quality microphone adapter cables are used to connect your Heil microphone to your favorite transceiver. These cables are available for all Heil microphones. Most cables are fitted with 4-pin XLR connectors that support a built-in PTT switch, including the Classic, Goldline, GM, Genisis, Handi-Mic, HM-12, and HM-10 microphones. Cables that include "XLR" in the code feature the 3-pin XLR connector used with the PRO series microphones, which require the use of an external PTT or foot switch, such as the PR-20, PR-28, PR-40, and PR-781.
Features and benefits of Heil adapter cables over others:
* 100 percent silver braid shield... keeps noise OUT
* PTT control lines are OUT of the shield... eliminates stray coupling
* Made with commercial audio quality 'Heilwire'... tough and flexible
* 18 AWG diameter wire; not 22 or 24 like others... lower ohmic cable resistance
* Proprietary microphone connectors (patent pending)... long-lasting
* Heil dual-crimp cable clamps are heavier than ordinary connectors... reliable dependability
* Outstanding engineering... low-noise broadcast audio
The XLR connector's quick-disconnect feature allows you to easily move your Heil microphone from transceiver cable to transceiver cable, at the microphone end, without having to rewire a boom or remove connectors from transceivers. In addition, all Heil audio cables are wired to support VOX operation.
Heil Sound microphone adapter cables are available in 4-pin and 8-pin round versions and also with modular-type connectors. Don't connect a high-quality microphone to a cheap cable! Order your Heil Sound microphone adapter cables and transmit the best possible audio!
