GZV-4000 40A switching power supply
The GZV-4000 is a new high-power (40A) switching power supply, yet with reduced size and weight. It has been designed and built specifically for powering transceiver equipment, providing a variable voltage between 5 and 15 Vdc with 40 A of continuous current. It is equipped with protection circuits: overcurrent, which intervenes in case of overloads beyond the limit value, including short circuits, and overtemperature, to prevent overheating that could damage the power supply. An indicator on the front panel of the GZV-4000 signals when the protection circuits have been activated. Furthermore, given its dedicated use, it features a special radio frequency interference (RFI) protection circuit. The analog instrument displays the delivered voltage and current, selectable via the switch on the front panel. The GZV-4000 has three DC power outputs: one high-power (40A) terminal block output at the rear, while two outputs - one with 6A SNAP-ON terminals and one with a cigarette lighter socket - are concealed at the front under a removable panel.
