The SA-7000 is a wideband receiving base antenna that can be used between 30 KHz and 2 GHz.
It was designed for use in installations where space is limited. The SA-7000 is a passive antenna, it does not need power, and it consists of two "whip" elements: the long element operates in shortwave up to 30MHz, while the second is for frequencies up to 2 GHz. The loading coils are tuned to 150 & 800 MHz to improve performance in the VHF and UHF bands.
It is a very compact antenna, only 180cm high. A single coaxial cable powers both elements, supplied (15 m length, terminated with BNC connectors) ready for use. The SA-7000 is easy to assemble using the V-clamps, screws, and other installation accessories provided.
