4-way remote antenna switch 500 Watt @1 – 50 Mhz
This is a 4-way remote antenna switch, which we have specifically designed for those who cannot bring more than one coaxial cable into their home. The switch is controlled from the station via a control unit included in the kit. The control is carried out using a two-wire ribbon cable, preferably red and black, which will be connected on one side to the two-position terminal block of the control board, and on the other side to the "relay connectors" board. The antenna input selection is made via a rotary switch on the control unit; a suitably numbered LED will indicate which of the four antenna inputs is active. If the device is not powered, the antenna connected to ANT 1 input will remain connected to the transceiver. Therefore, it is preferable to connect the most frequently used antenna to the ANT 1 input. The kit includes a 12Vac power supply and 5 SO239 panel connectors. The connectors are supplied unassembled, so that the user, if desired, can mount them on the metal plate of an enclosure. To complete the installation, the following materials are required: 1) threaded screws of adequate length and a diameter not exceeding 3 mm, 2) nuts compatible with the threaded screws, 3) serrated washers. The latter will ensure a good connection with the 4 ground holes on the PCB. The mentioned material will be used to fix the connectors to a possible panel.
