Il SuperStar SS-6900 (v7) è un ricetrasmettitore HF con la caratteristica unica di poter essere programmato via Windows con un PC e un cavo specifico.
Dietro questo semplice design nero ci sono un´impressionate numero di funzioni e caratteristiche: uscita 40 Watt FM (40 Watt SSB), frequenza e display canali contemporaneamente, 6 bande programmabili, echo, scansione canali, PA, RF gain, dual watch, time-out timer, indicazione volt alimentazione, roger bleep, potenza regolabile, noise blanker & ANL, rosmetro SWR incorporato, filtro hi-cut filter e sistema di protezione da sovratensioni.
La radio ha la possibilità di essere programmato con 6 bande da 60 canali per uso export da 25.615 a 30.105. La programmazione avviene tramite cavo USB e un PC con sistema operativo windows 2000, XP, Vista o Windows 7. Tramite semplice modifica (pressione di due tasti all'accensione) può essere commutato il funzionamento tra modo CB esteso (da 26.615 a 28.305) e modo radioamatoriale per la banda dei 10 metri.
